Daniel Hornsby is a writer and musician based in Minneapolis. His latest novel Sucker came out on Anchor in 2023, and his debut Via Negativa was published by Knopf in 2020 and recently adapted into a film premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival. His stories and essays have appeared (or are forthcoming) in Bookforum, the Kenyon Review, the Sewanee Review, Joyland, and the Missouri Review. His music, under the name True Green, has been featured on Stereogum, WFMU, and the Current.
